We use a range of production quality Canon Inkjet Printers to produce your prints.

This service and price range is limited to producing light coverage prints suitable for building and construction plans. We advise up to 10% coverage on the sheet and reserve the right to refund purchases that go above that kind of range. Please note some colour banding may be apparent on solid areas of coverage. Our plan printing service is not a full-bleed printing service and any files provided with bleed and/or crop marks will print with white borders.

We can however print full colour posters with higher coverage onto our thicker 200gsm poster stock. You can order these on our poster printing page: Posters

If we need to upgrade you to this service we will get in contact so that you can make payment. If you are unsure of the suitability of your files please give us a call so we can discuss, or email your files to info@a1planprinting.co.uk

We aim to despatch all orders received before 2:00pm the same working day. If you need plans printed same day and have missed our deadline please get in touch to check our capacity.

We work Monday to Friday, so orders made on the weekend will be processed on the next working day (usually Monday unless it is a bank holiday etc).

Express delivery orders are usually delivered next working day to addresses within England and Wales. Some areas of Scotland and Northern Irish destinations will take an extra day to be delivered. Standard delivery orders are usually delivered within 3 working days. Please note that we cannot guarantee delivery to building sites, and any orders placed for delivery to such addresses may be undelivered or delayed. Please provide a real street or office address for delivery when placing your order.

We use DX Delivery, Parcelforce and FedEx to deliver our prints, depending on delivery location and delivery speed selected. At our discretion we may use a different courier or postal service if necessary.

Yes.

Our timed delivery sources of course demand a signature to confirm safe receipt. If you are not in to sign for the delivery our courier will leave a card giving you the opportunity to arrange a redelivery at another time. At the discretion of the courier company you may be able to collect from the depot or local Post Office, or arrange to leave with a nominated neighbour.

Express delivery is £12.50+ VAT.

Standard (up to 3 day) delivery is £9.50+VAT

Please remember to submit your drawings before 2:00pm on a weekday if you require Express delivery.

Your prints are rolled into heavyweight triangular tubes for transit. If you request folding instead they are folded and boxed using double wall cartons..

No. You need to submit your files to us in PDF format ready for printing.

Yes we can and we will - just order the size you need and we will fit it to the page size ordered. But be careful if you are scaling from these drawings, as this can cause the scale to no longer be correct..

We offer folding at an extra cost of 75p per print. We carefully fold your prints down to A4 by hand. Due to the nature of this process some slight size variation may occur.

If you require folding for placement inside binders please let us know when you order. We may make any extra charge for this service.
